Don't Give Up!

My fellow Windows users, why stricken yourselves with the burden that is Vista? Try as you may to get everything to work as it should and have all of the drivers for your hardware components work, why put off the inevitable? The fact of the matter is, you're all going to buy a Mac in a few years anyways.

It's become clear - to me at least - that Vista is indeed Microsoft's swan song for their contributions to the consumer OS. Microsoft will always have a place in businesses for several years to come, but as far as the home computer goes, it's all going to be Mac.

I'd like to share with all of you a new ad from Apple that you will undoubtedly agree with regardless of your OS preference.

I just love this ad because it's true to everyone who upgraded to Vista and thought it was awesome. I distinctly remember Brian's first trials with Vista and how awesome he thought it was. He even had me agreeing with him for some time. But now he's recently made the downgrade back to XP.

I've got a proposition for you all. Why not make your next computer a Mac? What have you got to lose? Worse comes to worse you simply run Windows on it. I've spent most of my day today trying to convince a friend to take the plunge as well. He's almost there. At least I've got him past the senseless "Mac's suck" perspective and he is seriously considering it.

Anyways, I know I said that I wouldn't be posting as many Mac endorsements, but given that that's what I've spent most of my weekend doing, it seemed only fitting.
